How to Add an Additional Domain in DirectAdmin
Add a domain to your DirectAdmin account, review its limits and PHP and SSL options, and verify that it appears under Domains.
An additional domain lets you host another website within the same hosting account. It will have its own file location and will be managed from the domain list.
Before you begin
Check that you own or are authorized to use the domain and that your plan supports another domain.
Check whether the domain has already been added to another account on the server. The panel may reject names that already exist.
Have the DNS details the domain should use ready. Adding it to your hosting does not register it or transfer its ownership.
1. Open Create Domain
From the dashboard, go to Account Manager → Domains and click Add New.

2. Fill in the details
In Domain, enter the full name in lowercase, without
www,http://,https://or paths.Review Bandwidth and Disk Usage. If you keep Same as Main Account, the account's allowance is used.
Check the Secure SSL and PHP Access options according to the site's needs.
Click Create and wait for the message Domain created successfully.

3. Verify the added domain

Check that the name appears in Domains and that the default domain is still the correct one. You do not need to change the default domain to manage the additional one.
When you want to work with its tools, select it as the active domain. Its website will only be publicly accessible when DNS points to the service and its files are available; HTTPS also requires a valid certificate for that name.
If an error appears, check the spelling of the name, the domain limit, and whether it already exists on the server. Do not try to create the domain again without checking the list first.
